SEA

Otherwise known by the Military as the maritime domain, IFT produces innovative defense technology for counter sea operations in the oceans, seas, bays, estuaries, islands, coastal areas, and the airspace above these, including the littorals.

AIR

The Department of Defense recognizes the air domain as “the atmosphere, starting at the Earth's surface, stretching to the altitude. IFT understands that the extent to which the military can exploit the air domain in its favor by finding and holding at risk any target (fixed, mobile, hardened, and deep inland) anywhere on the globe is a key differentiator that makes the U.S. a military superpower. As a result, IFT is continuously working on hardware and software systems that can help continuously and effectively improve the air domain defense.

LAND

The land domain is what can be considered as the land area of the Earth’s surface ending at the high-water mark. It is perceived as the most intricate due to its relationship with humanity in the aspect of cultures, ethnicities, religions, and politics. IFT recognizes that land counterdefense against an armed adversary can be a lethal human activity. IFT continuously produces and evolves hardware and software systems for soldiers to successfully combat in the land domain which requires protected friendly networks (wired and wireless) while exploiting or degrading the adversary’s networks.

CYBER

The Department of Defense defines cyberspace as a global domain within the information environment. It is an interdependent network of information technology infrastructures and resident data, including the internet, telecommunications networks, computer systems, embedded processors, and controllers. Military Cyberspace Ops gather intelligence and prepare military cyber resources to use in the event of a crisis or conflict and further defend by disrupting or halting malicious cyber activity at its source. At IFT we are continuously producing high-end hardware and defense software to contribute to the forward defense and disruption of an adversary’s network when hostile activity is suspected.

SPACE

The space domain is recognized as the area above the altitude where atmospheric effects on airborne objects become negligible. Operating in the space domain is a challenging mission that requires a thorough understanding of operations to determine evolving threats and challenges across the competition continuum. USSF forces do not operate in the space domain alone. Space operations are integral to all-domain operations and, at the same time, dependent on operations in the land and cyberspace domains. For over 11 years IFT has been developing hardware and system software to facilitate, support, and provide a deeper understanding of the space domain.

MULTIDOMAIN

Multi-Domain Operations as described by the joint force (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Space Force) refers to counterdefense with an adversary capable of challenging the U.S. in all domains (air, land, maritime, space, and cyberspace) in both competition and armed conflict. At IFT, our engineers and scientist produce technology to support deterring adversaries and defeating highly capable near-peer enemies.
