IFT attended Broadband Wireless Access and Application Center, BWAC, meeting at University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona. BWAC is one of the many NSF Industry & University Cooperative Research Program (I/UCRCs); over 50 active centers nationwide; includes over 200 sites. The Industry/University Cooperative Research Centers (I/UCRCs) program develops long-term partnerships among industry, academe, and government. The mission of BWAC is to collaborate with industry research partners to create flexible, efficient, and secure wireless networks that satisfy broadband communication needs in businesses, in the home, and in the lives of individuals.
