In the information age, satellite communication (SATCOM) that is secure, high quality, and having global coverage is crucial to US military and Air Force missions and operations. To meet the ever-increasing SATCOM bandwidth and service needs in various missions/operations, the Air Force needs to rely on a mixture of government owned SATCOM systems and commercial communication satellite constellations. This project involves optimizing commercial use of  SATCOM resources in specific Air force mission(s). This project leverages IFT’s SATCOM R&D department.
