In a significant development on January 16, 2024, IFT undertook a visit to Stiletto, Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock/DET Norfolk, marking a pivotal moment in the successful field testing of the IFT passive ranging system. Collaborating with the Joint Prototyping and Experimentation and Maritime (JPEM) program, IFT conducted a noteworthy on-the-water demonstration from the innovative STILETTO maritime experimentation craft. This immersive experience in an ocean environment was a valuable opportunity for IFT, made possible by the unwavering support of key individuals, including Dennis Danko, JPEM program manager, and Craig Corris, Ops manager for JPEM, whose contributions played a crucial role in the triumph of IFT’s prototype testing endeavors.
