We live in a Three-Dimensional world where all the objects around us are 3D. Yet, most cameras we use today produce two-dimensional records of the world, thereby lacking informational depth. Today, with the continuous development of CCD/CMOS cameras and computer technologies, 3D camera/scanner technologies can be developed at high speed. There is no doubt that 3D Systems will bring our 3D world a wider range of applications.

The eyeFT-3D technology uses a 2-step structure lighting concept to solve the multi-valued issue of periodic structure lighting. Thus, the correspondent points on both left and right images can be determined quickly and accurately. As a result, eyeFT-3D produces 3D coordinates of the object(s) that to be calculated by triangulation.
