In this contract. Future live force-on-force training systems will require high-bandwidth, low-latency transfer of information to facilitate advanced simulation capabilities such as real-time direct & indirect fires, interaction with virtual entities (controlled by both live participants and constructive simulations), and streaming of virtual terrain data. To limit the burden on participants and increase realism, live training systems are made as small as possible, limiting the on-board processing capabilities of these systems.
