Prof. Ruixin Niu from Virginia Commonwealth University gave a talk at IFT titled “Adaptive Sensing and Distributed Sparse Signal Recovery in Sensor Networks” at IFT’s 2017 Colloquium. He conducts research in the areas of statistical signal processing and its applications, including detection, estimation, tracking, data fusion, communications and image processing. IFT has a many year relationship with Prof. Niu.
