IFT received a contract from ALCON State University. In this contractual project, three research tasks (face detection, eyeglasses detection, and image retrieval technique used for face matching) will be investigated and implemented for the thermal face recognition project funded by Department of Homeland Security. All processes defined in the following tasks must be automatic, and their processing speeds are reasonably fast.
