Knowledge of an RF environment is important to many missions for communication and networking performance. The added task is to develop an RF environment charting system supported by GNAT for measuring signal levels in an RF environment over mission areas. As an application and testing of the RF environment charting system, IFT will use the developed system to conduct comprehensive measurements to acquire a knowledge of radio propagation characteristics in the microcellular environments.
