iC-Thru
iC-Thru is an integrated sensor system designed to quickly and easily search a space/target hidden behind walls.
IFT’s self-developed radar is a low SWaP-C one-hand operable device. At a distance, the device detects small objects or spaces hidden behind a wall. Moreover, it allows detection at multiple distance ranges for potential targets or spaces of up to 3 m distance.
iC-Thru is accompanied by an app that uses Bluetooth to perform, analyze and display the radar scanning results. The app analyzes the data from the radar and displays information about the scanned area on a wirelessly connected user’s phone or body-worn device.
METHOD: Linear Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (LFMCW) Ranging Radar, Signal processing algorithm for object detection and 2D display, Android app development
KEYWORDS: Low SWaP-C Radar, LFMCW Radar, Hidden Target Detection
